‘Inspire Calderdale’ - Calderdale Council’s annual conference this year will celebrate the fantastic work of businesses within the visitor economy.
Come and meet members of Calderdale Council and Welcome to Yorkshire’s team and find out more about how you can make the visitor economy work for your business.
The event will feature:
- A warm welcome from Welcome to Yorkshire Chief Executive Gary Verity
- A presentation for Tourism Expert Susan Briggs on ‘Local Distinctiveness’ and how this simplistic approach will significantly support your business.
- The opportunity to attend one of the following workshops to find out more about:
- ‘Food and Drink’ ‘The Great Outdoors’, ‘Family Market’ and ‘Arts and Creativity’
- The chance to meet the Welcome to Yorkshire Team and Calderdale Tourism Team
- You’ll also be able to meet other tourism businesses in Calderdale, share great ideas and make valuable connections.
You will then have the opportunity to meet for lunch and indulge your inner child by taking a free tour of Eureka! Calderdale’s very own National Children’s Museum voted best ‘hands on’ museum in the UK.
