Calderdale Forward has developed a narrative to
accompany Calderdale’s LAA 2008-2011. This builds on the vision
set out in the Futures Plan and on the ‘Story of Place’ set out
in our LAA1. The story of place for our LAA sets out our
ambition for Calderdale and identifies the opportunities and
challenges the District faces. It sets out the framework and
priorities within which the indicators and targets in the LAA
have been agreed with Government. The story of place is not
formally part of our Local Area Agreement with Government but
